At Paymentology, we believe that when young people are equipped with knowledge, they don’t just learn, they lead.
That’s why, through our Changing Lives initiative, we partnered with READ Nepal to support a series of youth-led awareness sessions in rural communities. More than 500 participants gathered in June across two of READ’s community libraries to learn about key social issues shaping their everyday lives, Covering topics like digital and financial literacy, climate action, menstrual health, and online safety.
What made this initiative truly powerful? The sessions were led by adolescent girls trained through READ’s life skills programme. These young women stepped up as facilitators, role models, and changemakers, helping others in their communities grow in confidence and understanding.
From building smarter digital habits to tackling social stigma, these girls are reshaping what’s possible. And we’re proud to play a small role in helping them raise their voices—and be heard.
