Black Poison, a football club based in Alexandra, was founded with a bold mission to uplift the boys of the community through sport and recreation.At Paymentology, we’ve stood by this team of 60 boys for years and watched them level up, both on and off the field. From monthly food vouchers that keep them fuelled on training and match days, to brand-new gear that keeps them game-ready, our support goes beyond the sidelines.
We’ve also created spaces for growth outside the game, hosting career days and wellness workshops that have helped shape their goals and boost their confidence.This year, we brought two of our longest-standing initiatives together, Black Poison and the Sizanani Mentorship Programme. Their new partnership ensures these boys will have continuous access to career guidance and wellness support through the year.
Our involvement has made a tangible difference, not just in resources, but in mindset. Consistent support from Paymentology has provided the boys with stability, motivation and belief in a brighter future. It has helped foster discipline, teamwork and self-worth, embedding core values that reach far beyond football. Parents, coaches and the broader community have echoed the impact that young players who once faced limited opportunities are now setting their sights higher, armed with skills and a support system that believes in them.
